Using the best and freshest seasonal ingredients we have refreshed our menu,
but don't worry, the old favourites are still there!

We have a wide choice of quality dishes, all cooked specially for you on the premises with fresh local produce. There's something for everyone, from light snacks to full 3-course meals. Every Sunday fresh joints of Beef, Pork and Turkey are slowly roasted to perfection and served from our all-you-can-eat carvery. Choose from a wide selection of mouth-watering Fish, Meat, Steak and Vegetarian dishes. Plus, old favourites such as Steak Pie, Deep Dried Haddock, Slowly Roasted Lamb, Bangers and Mash and Fillet Steak will always be on the menu!

• Seafood pancake served with a cream and white wine sauce, topped with grated cheese.
• Delicious salmon and prawn parcel.
• Deep-fried whitebait with salad and tartar sauce.
• Smoked Haddock Florentine served in a mushroom, tarragon and cream sauce, topped with grated cheese
   and served with French bread and salad.
• The Black Horse Chicken - chicken wrapped in oak smoked bacon, battered and served with sweetcorn and    cream sauce and new potatoes.
• Haddock Royale - fillet of fresh North Sea haddock, gently poached, topped with prawns and oak-smoked    salmon, served in a white wine sauce, topped with cheese.
• Lamb shoulder slowly roasted for three hours with mint sauce.
